The Apple Problemkidmercury | 19 January, 2007 10:06 Can Apple ever achieve a level of dominance comparable to Google or Microsoft? No. As Seth Godin and Jeff Bezos already know, the paradigm is this: the higher you want to rise, the lower your prices must be. Don't get me wrong: Apple can, and does, earn quite a bit of cash. But those committed to being big focus on lowering prices, which Apple doesn't. When we extend that idea further, we realize that the winners of web 2.0 will be pushing price to zero, and once that happens, will go open source. And then, the web 2.0 revolution will truly begin. commentsWhat is this blog?Hello, I call myself Kid Mercury. I am a songwriter, writer, astrologer, and entrepreneur.
