My #2 hero, Clayton Christensen (second only to Axl Rose), recently gave a speech on disruptive innovation. He talks about the basics of disruptive innovation, the laws of commoditization, and an idea that really hits home with me: open source as a disruptive technology. It's almost enough to give me a wet dream.
