International Innovation: A Daunting Challengekidmercury | 27 October, 2005 08:24 As Matt points out here, innovating for an international audience and cultures that you are not familiar with is particularly difficult. In my work experience, this is not something you can easily fake; other cultures can spot when something feels foreign or "culturally imported." Part of me thinks the only real way to address the problem is to "get local" -- get staff that is actually embedded in the culture that you are targetting.
