ActoMistake: Thinking Competitivelykidmercury | 05 November, 2005 13:23 On ActoGuitar, I recently added a forum that allowed people to share their music. The goal was not only to enrich the community, but also to encourage people to post on the forum, so as to build a community that is more interactive, and that we can create a dialogue with to understand their needs and then deliver them. It didn't work. No one posted. (Except for me). The problem is that there are other communities that are already developed that allow people to share their work. We are trying to do something truly disruptive with ActoGuitar, and a key principle of disruption is to aspire to create services whose primary competitor is not another company, but rather is non-consumption. So it was a mistake. The forum has since been removed. commentsWhat is this blog?Hello, I call myself Kid Mercury. I am a songwriter, writer, astrologer, and entrepreneur.
