AdSense Click Fraud is Only Yahoo's and MSN's Problemkidmercury | 14 March, 2006 17:12 Lots of people in the Internet business world talking about Google's $90 million settlement regarding a click fraud class action lawsuit. While click fraud is a real problem for Google, it is, in a way, a blessing as well: any attempts at highlighting the problem of click fraud will be more problematic for Yahoo and MSN than for Google. Why? Because Google is not a PPC company, it's not a search company, it's not a consumer technology company -- it's an advertising company. And while click fraud may be able to put a serious dent in Google's bottom line, it also hinders MSN and Yahoo from developing a network of advertisers that can rival Google. So long as Google has the relationships with advertisers, it will be able to find a way to make money off advertising. Which leads to a key point about Internet business: it's all about relationships. The companies that are the most connected in their respective space will be the ones that dominate online. commentsWhat is this blog?Hello, I call myself Kid Mercury.
