Why Hasn't Google Spun Off Yet?

They're doing a lot of stuff right now, and I wonder if putting it all under the same roof is really the best idea. This means these new business lines will conform to the parent company's business model, and will probably focus on selling more ads to existing clients as opposed to selling ads to clients that are currently underserved.
